Hi, I’m
Allison!
As a neonatal nurse practitioner, I saw firsthand how overwhelming and inconsistent the information on the internet and social media can be for new parents. When I had my own children, I struggled to find a reliable, supportive resource – even with my background. After years of educating other healthcare providers, I realized I wanted to bring the same expertise directly to parents – helping them feel empowered, informed, and supported in a way that I wish I had during my journey as a new parent.

My Story
Graduated nursing school in Canada
2000 RN in the NICU at B.C Children’s Hospital in Vancouver, B.C. Canada
2001 moved to the U.S.A. RN in NICU
2004, 2006, and 2009 had my children
2011 Graduated Masters in Nursing and started as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
2011 Working NICU as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
Educated many residents, neonatal fellows, medical students, new nurse practitioners and physician assistants, nurses, respiratory therapists, and community hospitals
2013 ran a successful Neonatal transport team for 11 years and assisted other hospitals with their transport teams
Medical-legal consultant
2020 unexpectedly became a solo parent
Reevaluated what is important in life
2023 Wanted to give more to other children so in addition to NICU, started working in a well baby hospital nursery as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
2024 Chose to extend reach to support and educate new parents of all babies and started Diapers Daises and Dandelions LLC
